He was predeceased by: his adoptive father Fred (Milred Tinseth). He is survived by: his family Ashely Lake; his wife Pat; and his sons, Randy of Seattle, Rodney (Sherry), Loren of Kalispell and Lance of Denver. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; and numerous nephews and nieces.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations in his honor be made to the Humane Society of Northwest Montana.
