He was predeceased by: his mother Charlotta Johnston; his son Tony Harness; and his granddaughter Faith Harness. He is survived by: his parent William Harness; his wife Hazel of Kila; his sons, Joe Harness (Kim) of Kila, David Harness (Kate) of Buffalo and Mike Harness (Susan) of Snohomish; his sister Pearl Faust of Thompson Falls; and his grandchildren, Laura Rodriguez of Kalispell, Buck Harness of Longview, Hayley Miller (Joe) of Missoula, Pax Harness (Kelly Harness) of Coeur, Cooper Harness of Buffalo, Angie Hadland (Karl) of Bellingham, Anthony Harness of Princeton, Tori Dennis (Josh Markham) of Seattle and Andrew Dennis of Seattle. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren, four great-great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews and a plethora of friends.
