He was predeceased by: his parents, William B. Roberts and Julia Roberts (Higden); his siblings, Orville, Kenneth, Robert, Billie, Donna, Peggy, Wilma and Beuliah; and his great grandchild Carter (Peanut).

He is survived by: his children, Shane Deon Roberts, Travis Lane Roberts (Allison), Heidi Lee Roberts (Dennis), Don Weakly, Dick Zachary, Randy Johnson, Daniel "Boone" Root, Tad "Pole" McDonald and Lena "Ol'Leaner" Warren; his grandchildren, Danielle Boggs (Brandon), Ashley Larsen (Caleb), Chelsey Carrillo (Joseph), Mileah Roberts (Ryan), Kolbie Chennault (Matt) and Brauhn Roberts; and his great grandchildren, Gabbi, Sam, Nicholas, Dominic, Joseph Allen, Blake, Sylvia, Matson, Keaton, Peighton and Ezra.
