He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred LaRoque and Mary LaRoque; and his son Paul LaRoque. He is survived by: his daughter Jane LaRoque Denham (Mike); his siblings, Ann Bennett, Kathryn LaRoque Garrett and Robert LaRoque; his grandchildren, Helena, James and Suriya; and his caregiver Allie Hall.
