She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Gassert and Florine Gassert; her husband John; and her siblings, Robert and Margaret.
She is survived by: her father-in-law John Van; and her children, Marlene Linstead (Rex), Chuck Van (Wendy), Jack Van (Tara) and Ted Van (Tanya). She is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and a great-great granddaughter.
