He is survived by: his parents, Gary Gene Snortland and Irene Magdelene Snortland (Yesel); his significant other Ashley Brandenburg of Kalispell Montana; and his siblings, Paulette Ramsey (Danny) of Roundup Montana, Diane Bragg of Roundup Montana, Shirley Swanson (Steve) of Roundup Montana, Jennifer Snortland of Roundup Montana, Kathleen Whetzel (Matt) of Arlee Montana, Julie Diegel (Dale) of Sunburst Montana, Sandra Cordingly (Dira Morgan), Mark Snortland (Cynthia) of Wildomar California and Jayson Snortland (Karen) of Thornton Colorado. He is also survived by his many nephews and nieces.
