He was predeceased by: his parents, William H. Grell and Lucille A. Grell (Lasky). He is survived by: his spouse Jean L. Stueve; his daughters, Lois (Joel), Diane, Carol (Tim) and Nancy (Vincent); his grandson Brian; his brother Douglas R. Grell (Jean); his son Brian (Kylene); his grandchildren, Caroline (Garrett), Anders (Annie), Tyler (Jen), Nathan (Elizabeth), Casey, Monica (Tucker), Cameron (Baylee), Eddy and Margaret; and his great grandchildren, Malcolm, Barrett, Wesley, Lucy and Ella.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to Flathead Association for Catholic Education (FACE) through St. Matthew's Parish, or Gonzaga University School of Law.
