He was predeceased by: his parents, Clemens Sr. Platt and Edith Platt; his sister Mary Ann Pippin; and his brother-in-law Gerald Frederick. He is survived by: his wife Betsy; his sister Dorothy Frederick; his brother-in-law Hal Pippin; his nieces, Sharon Cimarik (Dirk), Pamela Stuard (Charles) and Jenifer Santoro (William); and his nephew Craig Pippin (Renee).
