She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Thorvald Sorensen and Myrtle Sorensen; her husband Robert West; her son Kendall; her grandchildren, Paul, Andrew, Dawn (Ron Platke), Reed (Sarah), Raylon, Sawyer, Alan (Lynae), Ethan (Charlene), Garth, Kyrie, Tom (Tammy), Robert, Cynthia, Alyson and Korbin; and her sisters, Joyce (Paul), Carol and Ruby. She was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.
After Bob died of Alzheimer's, she continued to work in the store and managed it after that.
