He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis H. Ellis (Lou) and Celine M. Burns Ellis; and his siblings, Barbara Ellis, Margaret Semelsberger, Anne Ellis and Raymond Ellis of Michigan.
He is survived by: his granddaughters, Brooke Ellis, Haley Randall (Braylon) and Avery Ellis; his great grandchildren, Osyris and Octavia Randall; his wife Peg Frey (Mark); his cousin Dave Wade; his son Jason L. Ellis (Jay); and also Jen Huff. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
