He was predeceased by: his parents, George Underhill and Irene Underhill; his sisters, Jane and Virginia; his brother-in-law Herb Ayers; his daughter Leslie Ericksen; his grandson Cody Ericksen; and his great grandchild Chance Powell.
He is survived by: his daughters, Lisa Underhill (Tom Stone) of Minnesota, Amy Adams (Steve) of Wisconsin and Melissa Underhill of Washington; his grandchildren, Martin Adams, Paul Adams, Jesse Barnes and Rebecca Sutton; and his great grandchild Emily Powell.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to K9s for Warriors, Parkinson's Foundation or a charity of choice.
