It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Merle Joseph Farrier Jr. (Hot Springs, Montana), who passed away on March 30, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his stepfather G. J. Salinas; his parents, Merle and Helen; and his son Thomas. He is survived by: his wife Trudy L. Carter; his children, Merle, John, James, Carter, Teresa, Monica, Maria and Elizabeth; and his sister Sonja Jensen. He is also survived by his 47 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, April 6th 2025 from 4:30 PM to 6:00 PM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (22 1st Ave S, Hot Springs, MT 59845). A rosary was held on Sunday, April 6th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A Mass was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church (1002 4th Ave E, Polson, MT 59860). A burial was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Ronan Cemetery (46727 N Foothills Dr, Ronan, MT 59864).
