She was predeceased by: her stepmother Gertie Milholen; her husband Isaac Abernathy; her siblings, Ray Milholen and Marie Pittman (Bill); and her daughter LaTina Lea Powell.

She is survived by: her siblings, Jim Milholen, Rick Milholen (Sandy) and Aleta Winston (James); her children, Michael Abernathy (Juliet) and Velda Thompson (Paul) of Hot Springs; and her grandsons, Jeremy, Stephen, Jonathan Thompson, Bradley, Brandon, Joseph, Austin Abernathy and Braden George. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren.
