She was predeceased by: her parents, Haynes Mathews and Elva Mathews (Smith); her husband Robert J. Hiemstra; her siblings, Virginia Albinson and Marion Mathews; her grandson Mathew Towell; and her nephew Mark Albinson.
She is survived by: her daughters, Roxanne Couch and Sheri Grim (Steve); her grandchildren, Amanda Palmer (Brandon), Jason Campbell Elizabeth Simerly (Richard) and Nicholas Towell (Megan); her great grandchildren, Taylor Chitty Oxford, Austin Chitty, Daniel Campbell, Alexis Seger, Wesley Campbell, Kendra Towell, Dane Simerly, Londyn Simerly, Jaina Simerly, Kaylee Towell, Braxton Towell and Trinton Graham; and her great great grandchildren, Tyler Nicole Oxford, Kai Friely and Kohen Campbell.
