He was predeceased by: his parents, Hilda G. Muller (Mayer) and Alphonse H. Muller; his siblings, Viola Rambo (Howard), Dr. John Muller (Joann), Eileen Buchholz (Fred) and Clara Lipp (Phil); his nephews, Arthur Rambo, Tom Buchholz and Philip Buchholz; his niece Carolyn Davies; and his in-laws, Art and Hazel Brekke.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Muller (Brekke); his daughter Janet Trethewey (Jack); his great grandchild Tavin Trethewey; his daughter Janice Muller (Darrell Johnson); his grandson Kyle Kohn (Marisa Rivera); his great grandchild Rokki; his grandson Kameron Kohn (Chelsea Martello); his son John Muller (Christine); his granddaughter Ashli Young (Michael Cruse); his great grandchildren, Kalee, Rylee, Brian, Laney and Ethan; his grandchildren, Ami Johnson, Haden, Cooper Johnson and Justin Meltzian; his sister-in-law Shelly Schnitzmeier; and his close friend Hunter. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews, and in-laws.
Memorials are suggested to the Hi-Line Ambulance Service, Liberty Co. Health Foundation, American Stroke Association, or Stillwater Hospice of Billings.
