She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles McDowell and Harriet McDowell; her husband Steven Stancin; and her sister Kathleen Smith (Steven Stancin). She is survived by: her close friend Norman Harju; and her children, Eric Stancin (Shelly), Laura Zander (Dale), Phillip Stancin (Gerlyn), Lisa Watkins (Jarrid), Ruth Stancin, Luke Stancin and John Stancin (Kari). She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, a niece and nephews.
