She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur G. Nelson and Florence M. Nelson (Wickersheim); her husband George F. Hiltabrand; her brothers, George and Arthur Nelson; her children, Yvonne N. Hiltabrand and Richard L. Wood; her daughter-in-law Debra Wood; her granddaughter Lisa Knowles; her great grandchild Shealynn Wood; her sister Pearl Spurzem; her siblings-in-law, Richard Bidmead, Richard Spurzem and Auriel Hiltabrand; and her aunts, Alma French, Dorothy Bedwell and Bessie Perhay.
She is survived by: her son Donald W. Wood; her stepsons, Scot C and Herbert F. (JoLane); her sister Suzanne Bidmead; and her sister-in-law Frances Nelson.
Memorials may be made in Grace's memory to the Daughters of the Nile Foundation, 6705 Mesa Dr., Austin TX 78731-2817 – to care for children at the Shriners Hospitals, or a charity of the donor's choice.
