He was predeceased by: his wife Yvonne DeRosier; his parents, James "Jack" Nielson McNeil and LaVaun Parsons Hunter; his stepfather Clarence Hunter; his stepbrothers, Ray, Richard and William Hunter; his siblings, Earl McNeil and Peggy Hightower; and his son Kenneth Dwayne "Ken" McNeil.
He is survived by: his children, Thomas Floyd McNeil of Springfield, ID, Wendy Shelman (Kent) of Idaho Falls, ID and Ronald J. "RJ" McNeil (Heather) of Helena, MT. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Paul's United Methodist Church (512 Logan St, Helena, MT 59601). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 at the Forestvale Cemetery (490 Forestvale Rd, Helena, MT 59602).
