Alice D. Kirn Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Alice D. Kirn of Helena, Montana, born in Max, Minnesota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 21, 2024 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Esther Anderson Stangeland and George Elmer Stangeland; her fiancé John Kirn; and her siblings, Dorothy Edlund, Marie Peterson, Lorraine Isaacson, Delmer Stangland, Gerald Stangland and Donald Stangland.
She is survived by: her children, John Frederick Jr. (Deanna) of Midlothian, VA and Andrea Leigh (Michael) of Helena, MT; her grandchildren, John Kirn III of San Mateo, CA, Andrew Kirn (Julie) of Manteo, NC and Kelsey Pipp of Atlanta, GA; and her siblings, Hazel Lambert and Kenneth Stangland. She is also survived by loving nieces and nephews.
At her request, Alice's body has been donated to the WWAMI Medical Education Program for Medical Study and Research at Montana State University.
