He was predeceased by: his daughter Reva; his wife Reva Sears; his children, Sean Doney and AJ LaRoque; his parents, Verner Sears, and Elaine Sears, Sr. (Bear); his sisters, Andrea Sears and Brenda Doney; and his parents-in-law, Lindy and Irene Doney.
He is survived by: his children, Tyrell LaRoque of Fort Belknap, Tony of Fort Belknap and Heaven Sears of Fort Belknap; his grandson Waylon Sears; and his siblings, Barbara Toves of Wolf Point, Michelle Sears of Harlem, Mike Sears (Shelly) of Poplar and Verner Sears, Jr. (Jennifer) of Wolf Point. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends.
