She was predeceased by: her parents, Jerome Mattern and Gloria Mattern; her daughter Jennifer Shakal; and her siblings, Brian Mattern, Tammy Frasier and Nancy Mattern.
She is survived by: her husband Jerome Shakal of Havre, MT; her son Robin Shakal of Strafford, NH; and her grandchildren, Claire and Elaine Shakal.
