He is survived by: his son Edwin "Ed" Scherer (Lana); his granddaughter Jennifer Blakeley (Ken); his great grandchild Gabriel; his granddaughter Kara Colwell (Matt); his great grandchildren, Greyson and Jackson; his granddaughter Nicole Muncy (Cory); his great grandchildren, Blaine, Faith, Sadie and Waylon; and his sister Dorothy Nelson.
