He was predeceased by: his parents, John Roddy Sunchild, Sr. and Florence Stump Sunchild; his sons, Nathan and Joseph Sunchild; his brother John'Rick'Sunchild; his aunts and uncles, Rocky, John, Clifford, Pete, Donald, Jim, Fred, Douglas, Pat Stump, Ned, Bruce Sunchild, Flora Stump Big Knife, Dorothy Small, Zellah Nault and Patsy Stump Gopher; and his close friend Shawn Parker.
He is survived by: his daughters, Deidra and Deena Sunchild; his grandchildren, Tayleigh, Tatum, Layden and Leilynn; his sisters, Laurie and Lisa Sunchild; his aunts, Helen Parker and Irene Mitchell; his nieces and nephews, John Sunchild III (Shauntae), Cruz Singer, Serene (Tommy), Allie (Cody), Anjel, Tennae (Steven), Rainey (Bradley) and Rainmutt; and his grandchildren, Alyx, Khenadie, Calen, Caleb, Ah'varie, Braxton, Camm, Dave, Amiyah, Ariya, Ayvien and Rickson.
