He was predeceased by: his parents, John Piapot and Bessie Piapot (Raining Bird); his son Kenton Piapot; and his siblings, Bernard, Algie, Larry, Sharon Piapot, Carmie and Elaine Chandler.
He is survived by: his daughter Jillian Barnaby of Polson; his siblings, Barbara DuBois (Joe) of Box Elder, Selena Valdez of Havre and Russell Piapot (Teresa) of Rocky Boy; and his aunts, Pearl Whitford of Rocky Boy, Myrtle Raining Bird of Rocky Boy and Janice Meyers of Rocky Boy. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and other extended family and friends.
