He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Antonio Amato and Beulah Amato; his daughter Bernice Ann; his wife Lyla Amato; his brother Samuel Amato; and his nieces and nephews, Joseph Peter "Joey" Amato, John E Amato (Gay), Dennis Moore (Ruth), Brenda Dockter (Paul), James "Tony" Amato (Carey), Johnathan Moore (Rebecca) and Pam Sun (Dallas). He was also cherished by 24 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren.
