He was predeceased by: his son Cedric Simon; his close friend Debbie Roasting Stick; and his father Earl Huntley. He is survived by: his children, Stacey Huntley of Rocky Boy, Allen and Shawn Simon of Hobbema, AB; his mother Joyce Huntley of Rocky Boy; his siblings, John Veum, Jeff Huntley (Liza) of Box Elder, Jason Huntley (Lonna) of Rocky Boy, Billy Huntley of Shelby, Lije Huntley (Wanita) of Rocky Boy, Dell Huntley (Janene) of Havre, Tina Gayer of Great Falls, Mary Abitia (Fernando), Jennifer Denny of Havre, Melissa Hanson (John), Marcy Doney (Barney) of Havre and Patricia Huntley of Havre; his grandchildren, Jayreece Big Knife, Tayshawn Big Knife, Audrey Garcia and Manuel Garcia, Jr.; his uncle Delbert Altona (Elizabeth); and his aunts, Evelyn Cochran of Fort Belknap and Louise Peterson (Myron). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and other extended family and friends.
