She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Hanson and Elizabeth Matelski (Fors); and her brothers, Larry and Ken Hanson. She is survived by: her stepfather Ernest Matelski of Havre; her sisters, Brenda Hanson of Portland, OR, Kim Hanson of Havre and Lisa Matelski of Havre; her niece Kylie Barrows; and her nephews, Aaron Hanson, Jamie French, Jordan Normandy and Jobe Barrows.
A memorial service was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Holland & Bonine Funeral Home (210 3rd St, Havre, MT 59501).
Dawn's family has suggested memorial donations be made in her memory to the Havre Day Activity Center or the charity of the donor's choice.
