He was predeceased by: his wife Donna Kampf; his son Rick; his parents, Albert Knudson and Dorothy Knudson (Schafer); and his siblings, Doral Andrew, Violet Swick, Lloyd, Lyle, Stanley and Glen Knudson.
He is survived by: his children, Danette Butterfield (Craig) of Midland, TX, Vicki Carranza (Ric) of San Antonio, TX and Chad Knudson of Havre, MT; his friend Carol Walker of Havre, MT; and his sister Gladys Rohde of Bismarck, ND. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews; and many lifelong friends.
Memorials are suggested to the Friends of Beaver Creek Park.
