She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Nelson and Lillian Nelson (Gardener); her husband Ray Maxwell; and her siblings, Roy, Bill Nelson and Donna Lee Williams.

She is survived by: her children, Kenneth Maxwell (Betty) of Havre and Rae Ann Hansonl (Dale) of Havre; her granddaughters, Amber Ophus (Garrit) and Angela Nyberg (Dustan); her great grandchildren, Lilly, Jaida and Luke Ophus; her sister Carol Armer (Bob) of Stillwell, KS; and her brother-in-law Wayne Maxwell of Chinook. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Anna Mae's family has suggested memorial donations be made in her memory to the Friends of Beaver Creek Park or the charity of the donor's choice.
