He was predeceased by: his parents, John Stump, Sr. and Elizabeth Black Tongue; his wife Leatrice Shawl Stump; his son Levi Stump; and his siblings, Pat, Pete, Donald, Jim, Clifford, John, Rocky Stump, Flora Big Knife and Florence Sunchild.
He is survived by: his daughters, Loretta Stump, Ramona Stump and Beatrice Stump-Waggoner (James Waggoner); his grandchild Ehoka Stump (Mary Jo LeBeau); his great grandchild Mailee LeBeau; his sister Patsy Gopher; and his sister-in-law Martha Shawl Lambert.
