He is survived by: his former wife Helen Whitecow; his child Avah Talks Different of Wolf Point; his granddaughters, Avah and Amira; his children, Joan Johnson (Stan) of Fort Belknap, Alvin Talks Different (Alrita) of Ethete, WY, Ralph Talks Different (Missy) of Fort Belknap, Ira Talks Different of Harlem, Lena Horn (Dan) of Fort Belknap, Virgil Talks Different of Fort Belknap, Gene Talks Different (Dani) of Fort Belknap, Ester Lamebull (Byard) of Fort Belknap, Carol Lavallie of Havre, Edward Whitecow of Havre, Sherman Lavallie Sr. of Fort Belknap, Kim Norquay Sr. of Great Falls and Alvah Talks Different of Wolf Point; his siblings, Ivan Wing (Melinda) of Fort Belknap, Mike Talks Different of Harlem, Laura Wing of Great Falls, Margaret Strike, Carmen Jackson (Dale) of Fort Belknap and Sivinna Wing of Fort Belknap; and his aunt Irene Doney of Hays. He is also survived by 100 grandchildren and great grandchildren.
