It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roy Schmidt of Hardin, Montana, who passed away on March 10, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Roy Schmidt to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward and Neomi "Nimi" Schmidt of North Dakota; and his wife Carol L. Schmidt (Benzel). He is survived by: his children, Keith (Darlene), Kevin (Bonnie), Kerry (Missy) and Kenneth Schmidt (Charlotte); his granddaughter Athena Willard (Michael); his sisters, Verlene Feller of Hardin, MT and Delphine Kruger of Hardin, MT; and his friends, Bill Stenerson of Hardin, MT and Arvid Kraft of Pasco, WA. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Trinity Baptist Church (595 Abbott Rd. Walla Walla, WA 99362) earmarked "Schmidt Memorial" for the continuation of the gospel of Christ.
