It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Verna Burgess of Hamilton, Montana, born in Creighton, South Dakota, who passed away on September 27, 2020, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Platt and Vivian Platt; her husband Wm Wayne Burgess; her daughter Barbara Hayes; her grandson Cory; and her siblings, Howard "Gene" Platt and Nina Wofford.
She is survived by: her children, Carol Terry (Bruce) and Bradley Burgess (Jann); and her sister Shirley Agner (Dave) of Hamilton. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and 17 great-great-grandchildren.
