She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph A Paul and Isabelle Crane Paul. She is survived by: her husband Walter 'Sam Smith; her children, Pam Johnson of Helena, Walter 'Butch Smith (Cheryl) of Hamilton, Vicki Smith of Seattle and William Smith (Pam); and her brother Richard Paul of Butte. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and one great great grandson.
Memorials may be made to 'Lady of the Rockies' in Butte or St. Ann's Catholic Church.
