She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, W. B. Newson and Lilly Newson; her husband Donald W. Doerfler; her sons, Jeffrey of Hamilton, MT and Steven of Stevensville, MT; and her adoptive daughter Yvette of Bluffton, IN.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials in Peggy's name to the Bitterroot Health Daly Hospital Oncology and Infusion Center.
