Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Opal Whitcomb of Hamilton, Montana, born in Walsh, Colorado, who passed away at the age of 75, on May 6, 2022. She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Johnson and Opal Johnson; her siblings, June Readus, Leonard "Bud" Johnson, Robert "Bob" Johnson, Cora Gould, Faye Price and Bruce Markum; and her son Jerry Fowler.
She is survived by: her husband Leroy Whitcomb; her sons, Kenneth Fowler (Wanda) and David Whitcomb (Elaine Serwacki); her siblings, Anne Powell and Roger Johnson; her grandchildren, Derek Fowler, Christy Barnum, Anna Hoffman and Rachel Langston; and her close friend Gene Rotondo. She is also survived by 5 great-grand daughters, 1 great-grandson, numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Big Sky Baptist Church in Ruth's memory.
