He was predeceased by: his parents, Laverne M. Brion (Walters) and Richard S. Brion; his brother Ronald R. Brion; and his daughter Kimberly Jane Purviance (Brion). He is survived by: his sons, James Samuel Brion and Peter Justus Brion; his wife Linda K. Brion of Ewing; his children-in-law, Jane of Stevensville, MT, Nikki of Hamilton, MT and Bruce Purviance of Kamiah, ID; and his grandchildren, Kerstin Hagberg (Purviance), Ashton Smith (Purviance), Anthony Purviance, Grant Brion, Abigail Schifflet (Brion), Kaitlyn Brion, Cort Brion, Hunter Brion, Charlene Brion, Gavin Hagberg, Sophie Hagberg, Chloe Hagberg, Theo Purviance and Owen Purviance. He is also survived by brothers and sisters-in-law, cousins, nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 at 2:00 PM and on Thursday, December 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Place Church (273 Fairgrounds Rd, Hamilton, MT 59840).
