She was predeceased by: her parents, E. Harold McLaughlin and Dollie Haines McLaughlin; her husband William "Bill" Nelson; her sister Pearl Jean; her grandson Ryan Pocan; and her parents-in-law, Jim and Ruby Nelson.
She is survived by: her daughters, Teresa Shelley (Calvin), Tammy Pocan (Greg) and Billie Jo Tebay (Dusty); her grandchildren, Cayla Betz (Josh), Jamie Booth (Chandler), Heidi Ringlee, Jacob Shelley (Kaitlyn) and AJ Pocan; her great grandchildren, Carson, Josie Betz, Jentry and Ashlynn Ringlee; her cousins, Dori Bond and Reva Stansbury; her sister-in-law Pat Vannoy; and her friend Carolyn Squires. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
