He is survived by: his sister Genevieve; his son Robert Winter (Bob); and his stepdaughters, Lori Nelson, Kalispell, Tammy Bohland, Lakeside, Cindy Pilcher, Seattle and Debbie Robinson. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
