She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. M. Lyle Halvorsen and Cora Halvorsen (Christianson); her husband J. Gordon Peterson; her siblings, Lillian Baumgaertner, Harold, Milton and Stephen Halvorsen; and her son-in-law Toby LaMere.
She is survived by: her brother James Halvorsen (Pat); her daughters, Charlotte Waters (Chuck), Ramona Devine (Kevin), Naomi Peterson and Dorothy LaMere; and her grandchildren, Collin Devine (Destiny Schoonover), Matt Devine, Shawna Foulk (Gary), Shane Barnett (Amanda), James LaMere (Jessica) and Ginnie Smith (Rich). She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; nine step-great-grandchildren.
