He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Harry Hansell and Eleanor Hagen (Hansell); his wife Shannon; his children, Kimberly Slater (Adam), Brian Hansell, Timothy Hansell (Darci), Michael Hansell, Stephanie Hisaw (Robert) and Scott Calvi (Wendy); his grandchildren, Zach, Kaylee, Evan, Lillian, Jackson, Ella, Zander, Cheyenne, Dylan, Alex, Brock and Kassandra; and his great grandchildren, Paisley and Keegan.
