He was predeceased by: his parents, William C. Hodges and Gertrude Hodges; his siblings, William, Grant, Harold and Helen Dawson; and his son Stephen.
He is survived by: his wife Kathryn Houseman; his sister Patricia Mollerstuen of Dallas, OR; and his children, Laura Hodges, Victoria Gregori (Robert) and Timothy Hodges (Kathleen). He is also survived by nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
