He was predeceased by: his father William "Bill" Gehl; his grandparents, Lester, Edna Gehl, Herb and Iris White; his grandson Jack Dixon; and his close friend Dennis Secord.
He is survived by: his friend Wade Gehl; his mother Rose Gehl (White); his stepfather Bill Pena; his children, Britta Lee Vasichek (Dan) and Tanner Jacobson; his siblings, Shannon Gehl Sukut (Kevin), Tom Gehl and Warren Gehl (Clara Sprague); his grandchildren, Jasper, Zephyr and Sila Vasichek; his nieces and nephews, Codey McDonald (Lacey), Nicole McDonald (Paris Bread), Thomas Jr. Gehl, Jessika McDaniel (Jeremy), Kolby, Kaden Sukut and Derek Sprague (Jennifer); and his stepmother Dora Gehl. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, 13 stepsisters and brothers and many dear friends.
Through his leadership, the exceptional efforts of volunteers and the charity of local businesses the dinner served 600 warm meals to our community last year.
