He was predeceased by: his parents, Lillian Mary Keaveny and Valery Charles Keaveny; and his brothers, Charles Armin Keaveny, James Keaveny and Noel Evans.
He is survived by: his wife Marge of Great Falls; his children, Val Jr. (Kimberly) and Peggy (Ron Ray); his grandchildren, Ashley (JD Umbaugh), Jaycen (Maranda Cole), Joshua Keaveny and Ainsley Keaveny; his great grandchildren, Paige, Vivian, Brylee, Wyatt, Broc and Thorsten; and his brother Neil Evans.
