He was predeceased by: his parents, Mike Funyak and Mary Funyak; and his sister Mary Louise McIntosh. He is survived by: his wife Darlene "Betty" Aline; his sons, Kent (Kathy) and Kevin (Jami) of Billings; and his grandsons, Nicholas, Zachary and Lukas.
