It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Marie Murphy (Great Falls, Montana), who passed away on November 13, 2020, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her daughter Karen Cloninger; her brother Gary; her sister-in-law Edna Spence; her parents, Hyram Spence and Cora Daniels Spence; her former husband Bob Murphy; her daughters, Sharon Wombold (Ron) and Pamela Weiss; her sisters, Beverly Medford (Bill) and Delia Shumski; and her grandchildren, Dallas Morris, Kattie Colabianchi, Brittany Gomes, Morgan Medvec, Joseph Manhart, Tanner Cloninger, Sidny Cloninger and Matthew Cloninger. She was also cherished by nine great-grandchildren.
A celebration of Shirley's life will be postponed until the summer of 2021 due to the Covid outbreak.
The family requests donations be made in her name to the Bright Focus Foundation - Alzheimer's Disease Research.
