Judy Cummings wrote a sympathy message

“Shirley, was a great friend. Her and I go way back. We have bowled on the same team and against each other. Her wit was unbelievable. She made me laugh as well as other around her. She loved her family and had a story about everyone of them. She was kind and caring, to both people and animals. She loved her cat Patches. She also loved to have a beer on occasion. But her real passion was bowling. She was an excellent bowler. She like, most of us bowlers would get frustrated if the pins weren't falling like she thought they should. She was secretary of a couple of leagues and ran them very efficiently. I am going to miss her so much. She was my bowling and beer drinking buddy. Whenever I hear thunder I will know you are challenging God to a game of 10 pin. Wonder if he will have a clam beer with you? Bet you can talk him into it. RIP my friend. I love you.”
