With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ronald Gene Gilcher of Great Falls, Montana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 1, 2024 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Darrell Lee Gilcher and Hazel Johnson; and his siblings, Monty Gilcher, Richard Jensen, William Jensen, Robert Jensen and Lola Eayers.

He is survived by: his significant other Joy Curtis; his son Darren Gilcher (Nicole); his grandson Cory Gilcher (Lisa); his great grandchild Jayson Gilcher (Staci); his daughter Juli Buchanan (Dan); and his grandchild Virlene Gilcher.

Visitation was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Croxford Funeral Home (1307 Central Ave, Great Falls, MT 59401). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. Viewing will be held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Rose Room Chapel at Croxford Funeral Home (1307 Central Ave, Great Falls, MT 59401). A graveside service will be held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Aurora Cemetery.
