He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil and Ida; his siblings, Harvie, Vernon, Bob, Richard, Delores Kongslie and Shirley Schnibel; and his children, Laura Herman and Gary.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Herman; his sister Mardel Kuntz; his grandchildren, Robert Herman (Nikki), Stephanie Herman and Nicholas Gibbs; and his great grandchildren, Skyla, Jorod, Josie Herman, Ashanti and Maddie Martinez.
