He was predeceased by: his parents, Alec Azure and Mary Jane Azure; his wife Ethel Marie Azure; his son Bobby Lee Azure; his brother Lee Azure; and his grandson Dusty Lee Azure.
He is survived by: his children, Ron, Dave (Cindy), Richard (Sue), Darrel, Duane, Shawn Azure (Adrianna), Helen Lamere and Jewell Laverdure (Kal); his daughter-in-law Medora Azure (Star); and his sister Donna Hill. He is also survived by 25 grandchildren; 65 great-grandchildren; and 32 great-great-grandchildren.
